Moiré dispersion of edge states in spin chains on superconductors

 We show that the oscillations with energy of edge states in in-gap states induced by spin chians on s-wave superconductors are due to a moiré superstructure due to the wavevector of electronic interactions (Fermi wave vector) and the periodicity imposed by the spin lattice. This work explains recent experiments on Majorana bound states and predicts that is possible to have topological states at non-zero energies.
